Season 4 Starts Right Now...
![]() Actually, it started over a week ago with the posting of the first chapter however this is the official launch. Yes, I know, it took us long enough but good things come to those who wait. Chapter 2 will be up shortly and Chapter 3 is in development as we speak/type. As you can tell by Barron's stunning Chapter 1 graphics, we have updated the models a bit (including DF herself) and they are simply GORGEOUS - B has outdone himself and he can tell you more about the technical stuff later. He is now the proud owner of a new iMac (YAY) and he surprised me with a new iPod (WOO), so we will be in better creative moods soon. Speaking of which, this season will totally live up to the name "Darkfin" - there are reasons why it is not called "Light 'n Fluffy Fin" or "Rainbow Roses Fin" but I'm sure y'all have grown accustomed to that by now. We continue to be humbled by those of you who support us with your kind words and gifties, thanks mucho; ) I'm sure many of you feel the same when I say good riddance to an ugly 2005. Personally, it has been a year of great accomplishments, interesting fun, horrible scares, and colossal disappointments (yeah, I'm looking right at you, Becky) but my commitment to Darkfin has been reaffirmed and grows stronger daily. Let's hope that 2006 is a better year for everyone, everyehere! Finally, a brief intro to our new artistic contributor, Dan Rucker - he is the magic man responsible for the amazing artwork you see above and in Season 3/Chapter 15. The image you see here is an actual oil painting that hangs in a place of honor in my home and it doesn't do justice to how brilliant it looks in person. If you've been reading the DF Blog, you have been following the step process and this is the exquisite final result. Feel free to send Dan props and be sure to check out his website (when I saw his sexy portraits of Micronauts, I was sold). Big thanks to Cath & Scoob for hooking us up: ) |
