It has been brought to my attention by more than a few of you that you are getting very impatient for the start of the new season. It’s still being planned for this month and we (Barron and I) are doing everything humanly possible to make sure that it happens.

However, it seems like I need to clarify a couple of things that should otherwise be obvious:

Two people – zwei, dos, due, deux, II – are doing the UNPAID work of a dozen professionals. It would be really nice to be a Neil Gaiman who has a whole slew of people behind him to make sure things happen in a timely manner. No such luck here.

This is not a subscription service and we have kept the site ad free. I use personal finances every month to keep Darkfin running and the lawyers on a leash for opportunists who want to get cute – we do not make any profit, period.

Even though it’s been way too long since either one of us has been on a date, we do have real lives and responsibilities to work and family and friends. Therefore, when we say something will be added to the site, keep that time estimate as a ballpark estimate – life happens, plans change, deal with it.

Now, sorry for being a crabby bitch but y’all need to get your patience on and cut us some slack. This is an artistic work-in-progress, not a finished product. One day, it will be, but until then, hang in there or go elsewhere!
