Just wanted to let you all know that the Gracie "yearbook" vignette was posted over the weekend by the web wizard himself, Grand Master B. It was A LOT of fun to write. And Aussie RG found it amusing, thanks for the feedback: )

And also a big thanks to those of you who sent natal day gifties, especially to Dutch Girl who most generously started off my B5 collection. The b-day festivities themselves were quite a trip, ranging from a disaster at a museum in Pasadena to spilled drinks at a cowboy bar in hollywood. Good times!

Of course, nothing can compete with being HAUNTED. Yes, I was away at a friend's house and out front is an old elm tree that's a county landmark. They used to hang outlaws from it back in the late 1800's. I had trouble sleeping all night (the guest bedroom is right next to the tree) and I kept hearing screams and people gagging when I closed my eyes. No, it was NOT a dream, I know my dreams and this was REAL. Whatever religion or science thing you want to throw out there, the bottom line is that when there is one place that is concentrated with people passing into the next realm in a not-so-happy fashion, there is bound to be some kind of negative energy floating around. Similar to the type FOX News possesses.

Anyway, I've started an actual chapter for May. It should be up in a couple weeks. Enjoy your month and Happy Beltane to all of my pagan pals!

YAY - we nailed a statue today, aren't you excited? I'm sure Saddam and Osama (remember him?) are together right here in the USA at some 7/11 having a good laugh. Maybe our president can send in the special ops forces to find the American economy! I know so many people of all ages and professions who are unemployed, it's more frightening than the threat of supposed weapons of mass destruction. Alright, enough with the political stuff, wouldn't want to get 'Dixie Chicked.'

The month of birthday celebrations continues with a fancy FRENCH dinner with EK tomorrow night, the Venice boardwalk with JR next week and cowboy bull riding with CL soon to follow. My best friend promises to take me to a strip club on Sunset for my natal day festivities - material for an upcoming chapter, of course.

Oh, yeah. The vignette! That should be up soon. Barron has to work his graphix magix on it. It has been awhile since I did one but the inspiration came from cleaning out an old trunk of school crap in my study. This is a "must Gracie"... you'll see what I mean!
