Random thoughts and a new chapter soon!
Welcome to what is now basically becoming monthly updates.

First, Chapter 5 "Sand on Asphalt" will be ready to go soon. It is in the final editing stages and when The Web Meister works his mojo on it, it'll be posted.

Oh, to walk in Tina Fey's shoes... For those of you who gave up on "Saturday Night Live" in the early 90's - she is the head writer and the main reason why this show did a huge turn around a few years ago - it became GOOD again. Her take on Hugh Hefner and his girlfriends is the epitome of comedy for me.

Anyway, just had to paraphrase this joke from the last Weekend Update: "We're now calling French Fries 'Freedom Fries' and French Toast 'Freedom Toast'... in France, they're calling American Cheese 'Idiot Cheese'."

This pretty much sums up how I feel about this whole current world mess. I do support our troops no matter what. It isn't their call and they get paid peanuts for sacrificing everything. Several members of my family and friends served in the armed forces and I would have as well if it weren't for a medical condition. The real "regime change" needs to happen in D.C.

Add in the Dixie Chicks (just went out and bought TWO of their CD's in support) getting their asses kicked for expressing an opinion. It is truly a sad day in this country when the voice of dissent is threatened and bullied by a close-minded "majority." With evil, greedy Corporate America running most media outlets now, I doubt we'll see the likes of a Bob Dylan again.

Finally, Happy Celtic Day tomorrow ("St. Patrick" did the druids no favors). We'll be doing the traditional lamb stew, soda bread and "Wild Irish Rose" elixirs at Mulligan's before the bombs start falling.

New art for previous chapter
Due to time/muse constraints I didn't do any image for Year Three, Chapter Three. Well, after some gentle prodding for Lizzie I recified that oversight. You'll notice that I've gone to a richer color style which I hope looks a pretty on your machines as it does on my Mac. If not, GET A BETTER COMPUTER!!!! Anyway, enjoy the upgrade to the chapter...
