Huh
Well, so much for the update plan!
Barron is still museless and is in the process of switching everything over to the OSX platform. I have a new muse to play with on a different writing project, along with having to put a new roof on my house. So, yes, we have been lax with Darkfin. But I can promise you this... THERE WILL BE A NEW CHAPTER IN 2003. Happy New Year: )

I saw Tori, WEEEEEE!!!
Hey there-
Again, sorry for the complete lack of story updates. Barron has been in a muse-less funk when it comes to the graphics (maybe a note of encouragement from y’all might perk him up a bit) and this is just a lazy time of year for me – so many fatty foods, twinkling lights and crazy people to distract me. Anyway, I’m hoping to get something up before the end of the year. And now for the highlight of my month... no, make that YEAR. I saw the lovely Ms. Amos at the Universal Ampitheater the other night. As someone who has been to many a Tori concert, this ranked right up there with the best ever! Two solid hours of musical euphoria from the red-headed genius, including TWO encores. The song selection was a nice blend of her earlier works, half of the new album and a few “choice” pieces. She still has “it” in spades. To Vanessa Carlton and all of the other manufactured pop wannabes - “Little girls, go home! You cannot hold a candle to a real woman and a real artist.” Three great overheard comments at the concert: 1. (From a random guy being dragged along by his thrilled date) “This is the only concert I have ever been to where everyone sat through the performance!” 2. (From one security guard to another) “Man, I wish all our concert crowds were like this one. No one is shoving or shouting.” [NOTE: The audience was 95% white, 90% female and between the ages of 20-40, not quite the “rioting” type] 3. (From a girl in the merchandise line) “Tori is the only artist I will not bootleg off of the internet. I buy her CD’s, I’m doing my part.” |
