In case you aren't on the DF Yahoo notification list...
SEASON 3 HAS COMMENCED
Hey People- We have started, y'all know where to go... SO GO ALREADY; ) If you haven't done so, be sure to check the "Blog" section for more frequent thoughts and notices. And, when the planets align, we actually get reader feedback there as well. This season will be more of the same but on a bi-monthly schedule -- it's time for us to find real lives. Your amazing webmaster is learning how to do super spiffy graphics (check out the latest version of Darkfin on the main page). And yours truly will be attending UCLA to learn how to write! Well, that's about it. I hope you will continue to enjoy our little web saga. And special thanks to JD & CT, the Dallas Finheads, for sending me the Kelly Clarkson CD as a token of their esteem... I suppose you could say my life as a creative writer has now been validated, yee-haw. Later, Lizzy

Season 3 Schedule
Hey People-
Can y'all believe it is September already??? Anyway, after talking with Barron yesterday (thanks to the generous readers who remembered his natal fest), we are pretty much set to go on the season opener. It will most likely go up by the end of this month and new chapters will come out every TWO WEEKS. Yes, we are back to a bi-monthly timetable on chapters - last year, we busted our humps getting new stuff out to you every week and it damn near killed us! We will still include specials, vignettes and other delights (especially with our webmaster's ever-growing graphics/Flash talents) but it will be more like once a month or so. Well, there you have it, the countdown has begun: )

Season Three Preview...
I haven't had a lot of time to post here so I hope you guys don't feel ignored. But, behind the scenes, I've been working on some cool, new stuff for the site. The biggest thing is that I've been retexturing and reacessorizing the main Darkfin model. You'll get to see the final product when the season starts, but for now I thought I'd share with you a little preview. First off I should tell you that this comes out of a real rendering package I've been playing with. Much as I love Poser it's built in renderer is pretty weak. On the other hand my average Poser render takes ten seconds and this one took six and a half minutes. So it's pretty, but don't expect me to be doing that too often. It does look pretty cool though (IMHO). Oh, I should add, the only post work in Photoshop was to add the words!
